Walking
If you are starting from Venice Beach Boardwalk, head east on Ocean Front Walk until you reach the intersection with Rose Avenue. Turn right onto Rose Avenue and continue walking for about 10 minutes. You will pass by various shops and eateries. Once you reach the intersection with Lincoln Boulevard, turn left and continue for another 5 minutes. You'll eventually see Melrose Avenue on your left, where you can explore shops and cafes.

Rent a bike from one of the many rental stations along Venice Beach. Start from the Venice Beach Boardwalk and head east on Ocean Front Walk for a few blocks until you reach Rose Avenue. Turn right onto Rose Avenue and ride straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass through residential areas and local shops. When you reach Lincoln Boulevard, turn left, and after a few minutes, you will find Melrose Avenue on your left side.
