If you are in Venice Beach, start at the Venice Beach Boardwalk and head northeast towards Ocean Front Walk. Walk along the boardwalk until you reach the intersection with Windward Avenue. Turn left onto Windward Avenue and continue straight until you reach Pacific Avenue. Turn right onto Pacific Avenue and walk until you hit Washington Boulevard. From there, take a left and walk until you reach the intersection with Main Street. At Main Street, you can catch a bus heading towards Los Angeles, specifically the Metro Local Line 733 which will take you towards Universal City. Get off at the Universal City stop, which is close to your destination.

From Venice Beach, locate the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Board the Metro Local Line 733 bus heading towards Downtown LA. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Universal City stop. After getting off the bus, follow the signs to Universal CityWalk Hollywood, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the rental shops along the Venice Beach Boardwalk. Head northeast from the boardwalk towards Ocean Front Walk. Continue along the bike path on the beach until you reach the Santa Monica Pier. From there, follow the bike path that leads inland towards the city. Navigate through the streets until you reach the intersection of Universal City Plaza. This route will take you approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your cycling speed.
