Emma Wood State Beach will be on your right. Look for the entrance to the park, where there is parking available.

Public Transportation
To reach Emma Wood State Beach via public transportation, take the Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC) bus route 6 from downtown Ventura. Board the bus at the Ventura Transit Center and ask the driver for the stop closest to Emma Wood State Beach. The bus will take you north on CA-1. After getting off, walk a short distance to the beach entrance.

If you are coming from Oxnard, take the 101 Freeway North. Exit at Ventura Boulevard and merge onto CA-1 South. Continue on CA-1 for about 7 miles. Emma Wood State Beach will be on your left side. Keep an eye out for the park entrance.

For those coming from Santa Barbara, take the 101 Freeway South. Exit at Seaward Avenue and turn left onto Seaward Ave. Follow it to the coast, then turn right onto CA-1 South. Continue for about 10 miles. Emma Wood State Beach will be on your left side. Look for the park entrance.
