Public Transit (Bus)
From Santa Monica Pier, walk to the nearest bus stop at Ocean Ave & Colorado Ave. Take the Metro Bus Line 534 towards Malibu. The bus will take you along the scenic Pacific Coast Highway. Get off at the Zuma Beach stop, which is clearly marked. From the bus stop, walk towards the beach, which is about a 5-minute walk.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Santa Monica. From the Santa Monica Pier, head northwest on the bike path along the beach. Continue riding along the Pacific Coast Highway. Stay on the bike path until you reach Zuma Beach, which is roughly a 30-minute ride, depending on your speed.

Walking to Zuma Beach from Santa Monica is quite a journey, but if you're up for it, head north on Ocean Ave until you reach the Pacific Coast Highway.
