    From Walnut Creek BART Station, board a train heading towards San Francisco/Daly City. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the Embarcadero Station. Once you exit the station, transfer to the Muni bus line 30 (Stockton) or bus line 41 (Union). Board the bus and ride until you reach the Presidio of San Francisco stop. From there, it's a short walk to the Ecology Trail entrance.

    Walking from Local Hotels

    If you are staying at a hotel in downtown Walnut Creek, you can walk to the Walnut Creek BART Station. From the station, follow the previous instructions for public transit. Alternatively, if you're near the Walnut Creek City Hall, head north on N Broadway, turn left onto Mt. Diablo Blvd, and walk east until you reach the BART station. This walk should take about 15-20 minutes.
