Public Transit
From downtown Walnut Creek, head to the Walnut Creek BART station. Take the BART train towards Richmond. Get off at the Pleasant Hill/Contra Costa Centre station. From there, transfer to the County Connection bus #10 towards Concord. After about 15 minutes, get off at the intersection of Treat Blvd and Oak Grove Rd. Walk towards Oak Grove Rd and cross over to the entrance of Mount Diablo State Park, which is about a 30-minute walk from the bus stop.

Start in downtown Walnut Creek and head east on Mount Diablo Blvd. Continue straight as it turns into Ygnacio Valley Rd. Follow Ygnacio Valley Rd until you reach the intersection with Oak Grove Rd. Turn left onto Oak Grove Rd and continue until you reach the entrance of Mount Diablo State Park. The total distance is approximately 8 miles, and it should take about 45-60 minutes depending on your cycling speed.
