Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Kandal and head towards Phnom Penh. Take National Road 1 (NR1) and follow the signs for Phnom Penh. After approximately 20 minutes, keep an eye out for the exit toward Khan Preaek Pnov. Once on the road leading into Khan Preaek Pnov, continue straight until you arrive at the coordinates MQ37+V6F, 130, Phnom Penh. There will be signs directing you to Wat Sowann Thamareach, which is a prominent Buddhist temple in the area.
Public Transportation
To reach Wat Sowann Thamareach using public transportation, head to the nearest bus station in Kandal. Look for buses heading towards Phnom Penh, which run frequently throughout the day. The fare is typically around $1 to $2. Once aboard, inform the driver you want to go to Khan Preaek Pnov. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark near MQ37+V6F, 130, Phnom Penh. From there, you can either walk to the temple or take a tuk-tuk for a small fee (around $1).
