Getting There

  • Bicycle

    From Kep, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the beach area. Start your journey by heading southeast on the main road, which is called 'Kep Road'. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, turn left onto 'Kampong Trach Road'. Follow this road for another 6 kilometers. You will see signs pointing to Kampong Trach Cave. The entrance will be on your right, and you will need to park your bicycle at the designated area near the cave entrance.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    If you prefer a more comfortable option, hire a tuk-tuk from anywhere in Kep, especially around the central market or near the beach. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Kampong Trach Cave'. The journey will take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the cave. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, and it’s a good idea to agree on a return trip as well.

    For the adventurous, you can walk to Kampong Trach Cave. Start from the Kep National Park entrance, which is about 1 km from the center of Kep. From the park entrance, walk along 'Kep Road' heading southeast for about 3 kilometers until you reach the junction. Turn left onto 'Kampong Trach Road' and continue walking for approximately 6 kilometers. You will notice the signs for Kampong Trach Cave. The entrance will be on your right. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as it's a long walk.
