Ream National Park, also known as Preah Sihanouk Ream National Park, is a jewel of Cambodia's natural heritage. Founded in 1993 by King Norodom Sihanouk, it was the first national park established in peacetime Cambodia. The park spans approximately 210 square kilometers, boasting a diverse landscape of coastal regions, mangrove forests, tropical jungles and 21 offshore islands. The park's mission is to conserve the region's rich biodiversity, protecting various plant and animal species. Ream is home to over 155 bird species, including endangered species, as well as monkeys, reptiles, and marine life.
