From Siem Reap, hire a tuk-tuk for a round trip to Mechrey. Agree on a fare beforehand, typically $10-$15. The journey takes about 30 minutes via Sivatha Boulevard and National Road 6, then onto Street 05. The tuk-tuk will drop you off at the pier where you can purchase boat tickets to explore the floating village.

Rent a car or hire a driver for a more comfortable journey to Mechrey. The drive is approximately 25 km southwest of Siem Reap. Follow National Road 6 west and then turn south towards Mechrey. Parking is available near the pier. From the pier, purchase boat tickets to visit the floating village.

Once at the Mechrey pier, purchase a boat tour to explore the floating village. Small boats (1-8 passengers) cost around $19, while larger boats (9-15 passengers) are about $35. The boat tour lasts approximately 2 hours, taking you through the floating village, past the pagoda, and into the flooded forests (depending on the season).
