Getting There

Walking
From the Old Market area, head west on Street 9 towards the river. Walk straight for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Vithei Preah Sihanouk Ave. Cross the street to continue on Vithei Preah Sihanouk Ave. The Angkor National Museum will be on your left after approximately 600 meters. Look for the distinct modern building with a large entrance. The walk should take around 15-20 minutes.

Tuk-Tuk
If you prefer a faster option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from any point in the Old Market area. Simply approach a tuk-tuk driver and negotiate a fare (around $2-$3 is reasonable). Tell the driver 'Angkor National Museum' or point to it on your map. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic.

Another enjoyable way to reach the museum is by bicycle. You can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in the Old Market area for about $1-$3 per day. Start by heading west on Street 9, then turn onto Vithei Preah Sihanouk Ave. Follow the road for about 600 meters. Cycling can take around 10-15 minutes depending on your pace.
