Walking

Start from the center of Bafia. Head southwest on Avenue de la République toward Rue du Marché. Continue straight for about 1.2 km until you reach the main road, Rue de l'Indépendance. Turn right onto Rue de l'Indépendance and follow it for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the junction with Rue de la Liberté. At the junction, you will see a sign pointing towards Balamba. Take the path leading towards Balamba, which is about 3 km away. As you walk, keep an eye out for local signage that may help guide you. Once you arrive in Balamba, continue straight and ask locals for directions to Étang Boalondo, which is nearby the coordinates 964H+MH3.

Bicycle

Rent a bicycle in Bafia. Begin your journey heading southwest along Avenue de la République. After about 1.2 km, turn right onto Rue de l'Indépendance. Continue cycling for 1.5 km until you reach the junction with Rue de la Liberté. At this point, take the road that leads to Balamba, which is about 3 km away. Maintain a steady pace and watch for signs indicating your way. Once in Balamba, ask locals for the best route to Étang Boalondo, located at 964H+MH3.

Public Transport (Motorbike Taxi)

In Bafia, find a motorbike taxi (commonly referred to as 'bandeau'). Inform the driver that you want to go to Balamba. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Balamba, ask the driver to drop you off at a recognizable landmark nearby and look for further directions to Étang Boalondo at 964H+MH3. Locals can guide you from there.
