Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Yaoundé, take the A3 highway towards Douala. After approximately 120 kilometers, follow signs to Mouanko. Upon entering Mouanko, continue on the main road until you reach Yoyo. The destination will be located on Unnamed Road, identifiable by its coordinates: 3.6768° N, 9.6333° E. Parking is typically available nearby, but be cautious of local parking regulations.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  From Yaoundé, head to the Nyalla bus station and take a bus heading to Douala. The journey should take about 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Upon arrival at the Douala bus station, look for a local bus or taxi heading towards Mouanko. Once in Mouanko, ask the driver to drop you off at Yoyo, or guide them to the Unnamed Road. Expect to pay around 1,000 to 2,000 CFA Francs for the bus fare from Yaoundé and another 500 CFA Francs for the local transport to Yoyo.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Yaoundé to Yoyo. This option will be more expensive, typically costing around 30,000 to 50,000 CFA Francs, but it provides door-to-door service. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The taxi driver should be familiar with the area and can take you directly to the coordinates MJGM+P8H, Unnamed Road, Yoyo.

• Motorbike Taxi (Benskin)

  In Mouanko, motorbike taxis (known as 'benskin') are a popular and affordable option for short distances. Once you arrive in Mouanko, you can find motorbike taxis near the bus drop-off point. It should cost around 300 to 500 CFA Francs to get to Yo-Yo Plage from the center of Mouanko. Just let the driver know your destination, and they will take you directly there.
