Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Edea Central Market, head southwest on Avenue de la Liberté towards Rue des Martyrs. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Paix. Turn left onto Rue de la Paix and walk for another 300 meters. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue des Généraux. Follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Avenue du 20 Mai. Turn right onto Avenue du 20 Mai and walk for about 800 meters. You will see the Statue of Charles Atangana on your left, near the Quartier du Lac area.

    If you are starting from the Edea Train Station, exit the station and turn left onto Avenue de la Liberté. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Rue des Martyrs. Turn right onto Rue des Martyrs and continue walking for about 400 meters. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Avenue des Généraux. Follow this avenue for 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Avenue du 20 Mai. Take a left turn onto Avenue du 20 Mai and walk for another 800 meters. The Statue of Charles Atangana will be on your left.

    From the Edea Bus Station, head northeast on Avenue du 20 Mai. Continue straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Avenue des Généraux. Walk for about 500 meters and turn left onto Rue de la Paix. After approximately 300 meters, you will arrive at the Statue of Charles Atangana, located near Quartier du Lac.
