Walking
If you are starting from the central area of Yaoundé, head towards Avenue Jean Paul II. Walk north along the avenue until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn right onto Rue de la République and continue straight. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. Keep walking until you see the large roundabout at the intersection with Rue de la Liberté. Cross the roundabout, and head straight onto Avenue du Général de Gaulle. The National Museum will be on your left side after a few minutes of walking.
