Walking
If you are starting from the central area of Yaoundé, head towards Avenue Jean Paul II. Walk north along the avenue until you reach the intersection with Rue de la République. Turn right onto Rue de la République and continue straight. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. Keep walking until you see the large roundabout at the intersection with Rue de la Liberté. Cross the roundabout, and head straight onto Avenue du Général de Gaulle. The National Museum will be on your left side after a few minutes of walking.

From the central bus station in Yaoundé, take any bus heading towards Quartier du Lac. Inform the bus conductor that you are going to the National Museum. The bus will drop you off at a stop near the museum. Once you get off, walk towards Avenue du Général de Gaulle, and the National Museum will be a short walk away on your left.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in central Yaoundé. Start your journey towards Avenue Jean Paul II and continue north. After reaching the intersection with Rue de la République, turn right and cycle straight. When you arrive at the roundabout, carefully navigate across and continue on Avenue du Général de Gaulle. The National Museum will be on your left, and there is usually a bike rack near the entrance.
