Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the main entrance of Mefou National Park. Head east on the main road towards Yaoundé. After approximately 2 kilometers, take a right onto the road leading to Mont Abega. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the base of Mont Abega. Parking is available near the trailhead.
Public Transportation
To reach Mont Abega using public transportation, first take a taxi-brousse (shared taxi) from Mefou National Park to Yaoundé. The fare is typically around 1,500 FCFA. Once you arrive in Yaoundé, you will need to take another taxi or a private motorcycle taxi (okada) to VF38+4RP, where Mont Abega is located. The taxi ride should cost about 2,000 - 3,000 FCFA. From the drop-off point, a short walk will lead you to the trailhead of Mont Abega.
