Public Transport
From Douala or Yaoundé, take a bus or shared taxi to Kumba. From Kumba, local taxis or 'moto-taxis' can take you to Lake Barombi. Negotiate the fare beforehand. Expect to pay around 2,000 CFA francs for a one-way taxi from Kumba to the lake.
Car
From Kumba, follow the road towards Lake Barombi. The journey is straightforward, but road signs may be limited, so a GPS or map app is recommended. Parking is available near the lake.
Walking
For adventurous travelers, it's possible to hike from Bafang to Lake Barombi. The distance is approximately 10 kilometers and takes about 2-3 hours. Follow the main road out of Bafang, keeping an eye out for local signs directing you to the lake. Ensure you have comfortable shoes and plenty of water.
