Walking
If you are in the center of Yaoundé, start at the main bus station (Gare Routière). From there, head east on Avenue John Kennedy towards the intersection with Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenue de la République. Keep walking straight until you reach the junction of Avenue de la République and Rue de l'Enseignement. Turn left onto Rue de l'Enseignement and continue until you reach the intersection with Avenue du 16 Janvier. Turn right onto Avenue du 16 Janvier. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will arrive at a major intersection where you can see the Basilica of Mary Queen of Apostles on your left. Follow the signs and enjoy your visit!

From the central area of Yaoundé, head to the nearest bus stop. Board a bus heading towards Mvolyé (make sure to confirm with the driver or conductor that they stop near Baselique de Mvolyé). The journey should take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you get off the bus, look for signs directing you to the Basilica of Mary Queen of Apostles, which is located a short walk from the bus stop. Head towards the large building visible from the bus stop. Follow the road signs and you will arrive at the Basilica.

For a quicker option, you can take a motorbike taxi (locally known as 'benskin'). From your location in Yaoundé, find a nearby motorbike taxi stand or use a ride-hailing app if available. Tell the driver you want to go to 'Basilique de Mvolyé'. The ride should take approximately 15-25 minutes depending on traffic conditions. The driver will drop you off right at the Basilica entrance.
