    Start at the Nlongkak Market, which is a central point in the neighborhood. From the market, head southwest along Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Rue du Lac. Turn left onto Rue du Lac and walk for approximately 300 meters. The Monument of Colonel Leclerc will be on your right-hand side, just before you reach the lake.
