Walking

From Place de la République in central Yaoundé, walk southeast on Avenue du Général de Gaulle for approximately 1.2 kilometers until you reach Avenue de la République. Turn right and continue for 600 meters, passing Palais des Congrès. Turn left onto Rue des Ecoles, continue for 300 meters, and you will find the Monument Patriote on your right.

Public Transport

From Marché Central (Central Market), find the bus stop for buses heading towards Quartier du Lac. Board any bus indicating 'Quartier du Lac' as its destination. After a 20-minute ride, get off at the 'Quartier du Lac' stop. Walk approximately 200 meters to your left on Avenue de la République to find the Monument Patriote. A one-way ticket costs approximately 250 XAF.

Taxi

You can take a taxi from anywhere in Yaoundé to 'Monument Patriote' in Quartier du Lac. Agree on the fare before starting your journey. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Taxi fares vary, ensure the driver has change if you do not have the exact amount. Expect to pay at least 450 XAF for a short trip.
