    From downtown Miramichi, travel west on King George Highway (Route 8). Turn right onto Cove Road. The main parking lot is 160 meters ahead on the left. There is also a smaller parking area just past the cove on the left, and another by turning right onto the Old King George Highway at the end of Cove Road. Parking is free.

    Miramichi Transit's Blue Line, stop #24 King George Highway at Brewer Rd, is located close to French Fort Cove. From the bus stop, walk west along King George Highway, then turn right onto Cove Road. Walk 160 meters to the park entrance. A single fare is approximately $2.50.

    From the intersection of King George Highway and Cove Road, walk 160 meters along Cove Road. The park entrance will be on your left. This is a short and easy walk on a paved road.
