Car
If you're driving from St. John's, head east on Water Street toward Duckworth Street. Continue straight onto Duckworth Street and then take a left onto New Gower Street. Follow the road until it merges with the Torbay Road (Route 1). Continue on Torbay Road for about 6 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 20 (Torbay Rd). Take the exit on your right onto Route 20, and follow signs for Quidi Vidi Village. Once in the village, follow the signs for Quidi Vidi Lake. There is parking available near the lake but be mindful of any parking regulations.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach Quidi Vidi Lake using public transportation, take Metrobus Route 10 or Route 15 from downtown St. John's. You can catch these buses from the main bus terminal located at 25 Fresnel Street. The fare for a single trip is approximately CAD 3.50. Ride the bus and disembark at the stop closest to Quidi Vidi Village. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the lake area. Look for directional signs leading you to Quidi Vidi Lake.
Walking/Biking from Quidi Vidi Village
If you are already in Quidi Vidi Village, Quidi Vidi Lake is easily accessible by walking or biking. From the village center, head uphill towards the lake via the trail that begins near the Quidi Vidi Brewery. The scenic walk takes about 10 to 15 minutes and offers beautiful views of the surrounding area.
