Getting There

• Car

  If you are travelling by car, start by navigating to the town of Aquaforte, located on the Avalon Peninsula. From St. John's, take the Trans-Canada Highway (Route 1) southbound. Continue for about 40 kilometers until you reach the exit for Route 10 toward Holyrood. Follow Route 10 for approximately 15 kilometers, then turn left onto Route 73. After a short drive of about 10 kilometers, you will arrive at Avalon Wilderness Reserve, located at the address Aquaforte, NL A0A 1A0. There is ample parking available at the entrance.

• Public Transportation

  For those relying on public transportation, take a Metrobus from St. John's to the nearest bus stop in Holyrood. This bus runs regularly throughout the day. Once you arrive in Holyrood, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Avalon Wilderness Reserve, which is about 10 kilometers away. Ensure you check the bus schedule in advance as services may be limited, especially on weekends.
