Walking
From the center of Rocky Harbour, the lighthouse is approximately a 2 km walk north along Main Street North. The walk offers scenic views of the harbor and coastline. Follow Main Street North until you see signs for Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse on your left. There is no fee for walking to the lighthouse.
Public Transport
Local bus and taxi services connect Rocky Harbour with other communities in Gros Morne National Park. Check the schedule for the Gros Morne Shuttle or other local bus services that operate in the area. Upon arriving in Rocky Harbour, you may need to walk approximately 2 km along Main Street North to reach the Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse. Bus fares within Gros Morne National Park vary. Contact Pittman's Taxi at 709-458-2486 for taxi fares.
Car
From the Trans-Canada Highway (Route 1), take the exit for Route 430 towards Deer Lake/Gros Morne National Park. Follow Route 430 to Rocky Harbour. Once in Rocky Harbour, turn onto Main Street North. Continue on Main Street North for approximately 2 km until you see the Lobster Cove Head Lighthouse on your left. There is parking available near the lighthouse. A National Park entry pass is required. Daily passes are available, check the Parks Canada website for current pricing.
