Car
If you are driving to Pollett's Cove, start from the Cabot Trail (Highway 30). Head towards the Cape Breton Highlands National Park Visitor Centre. From the Visitor Centre, continue on the Cabot Trail until you reach the turn-off for the Pollett's Cove hiking trail, which is located near the Cape Breton Highland's Temple. Look for signs indicating the trailhead. You will need to park your car at the designated parking area. Be aware that the road to the parking area can be rough and is not paved, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

From the parking area, you will need to hike approximately 9 kilometers to reach Pollett's Cove. The trail is challenging and can take around 2.5 to 4 hours one way, depending on your pace. Be sure to wear appropriate hiking footwear and carry enough water and snacks for the journey. The trail begins at the Buddhist temple near the parking area. Follow the marked trail signs, and be prepared for a mix of terrain including rocky and steep sections.
