If you are driving from Sydney, NS, take the NS-125 N highway and continue onto the Cabot Trail. Follow the Cabot Trail for approximately 70 km (about 1 hour and 15 minutes). Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Saint Margaret Village. Once you reach Saint Margaret Village, turn onto Bay St Lawrence Rd, and Captain Cox's Whale Watch will be on your left at 3347 Bay St Lawrence Rd.

From Sydney, you can take a bus to Baddeck via Maritime Bus. Once in Baddeck, you'll need to rent a car or use a local taxi service to reach Captain Cox's Whale Watch. The distance from Baddeck to Captain Cox's Whale Watch is about 60 km (around 45 minutes by car). Follow the directions as if you were driving from Sydney, taking the Cabot Trail towards Saint Margaret Village.
