    If you're driving, start by heading towards the Cabot Trail. From Sydney, take the NS-125 N, which will merge into the NS-105 N. Follow NS-105 N until you reach Exit 5 for the Cabot Trail (NS-30). Turn left onto the Cabot Trail (NS-30) and continue driving for about 40 km (25 miles). You'll see signs for Acadian Trailhead as you approach Petit Étang. The trailhead is located at 16648 Cabot Trail. There is free parking available at the trailhead.

    If you're using public transportation, your best option is to take a bus from Sydney to Cheticamp. Look for the Maritime Bus service that operates between these locations. Once you reach Cheticamp, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Acadian Trailhead, as public transport does not directly reach the trailhead. Expect to pay around CAD 40-60 for the taxi fare, depending on the service and time of day.
