Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from downtown Cariboo and head east on Highway 97 towards Quesnel. After approximately 45 km, take the exit to Highway 16 towards Prince George. Continue on this highway for about 150 km until you reach the junction with Highway 5. Take Highway 5 south towards Kamloops. Follow the signs and travel for about 200 km until you reach the exit for Tadoussac. Follow local roads to the coordinates 46P8+7P, Tadoussac, Quebec G0T 2A0, where you will find Caribou waterfall. Note that parking may be limited, so arrive early to secure a spot.

Public Transportation

If you are using public transportation, take a Greyhound bus from Cariboo to Quesnel. From Quesnel, switch to a bus heading towards Prince George. Once in Prince George, you will need to catch a local bus or taxi to reach Highway 5. It's advisable to check bus schedules ahead of time for connections, as they may not be frequent. After reaching Highway 5, you can either take a taxi or arrange for a rideshare to get to Tadoussac. The total travel time may exceed 5 hours depending on connections, so plan accordingly.
