If you're starting from the downtown area of Charlottetown, head east on Queen Street until you reach the intersection with Grafton Street. Turn right onto Grafton Street and continue straight until you hit the waterfront. You will see the entrance to the Confederation Trail at the end of Grafton Street, where it meets the water. The trail begins here and you can follow it along the scenic route.

From downtown Charlottetown, you can rent a bicycle at one of the local rental shops. Start on Queen Street and head east, then turn right on Grafton Street.
