Start at the Charlottetown bus terminal. Board the 'York' bus, which operates frequently. Inform the driver that you are going to Covehead Harbour Lighthouse. The bus will take you north on Route 1. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the stop near the intersection of Gulf Shore Parkway East. You will see signs for the Covehead Harbour area. From the bus stop, walk approximately 1.5 kilometers east along Gulf Shore Parkway. The lighthouse will be visible along the coast as you approach.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Charlottetown. Head north on University Avenue until you reach the Confederation Trail. Follow the Confederation Trail until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Continue on Route 1, and then take a right onto Gulf Shore Parkway East. The lighthouse is approximately 5 kilometers down this road. Look for the lighthouse along the coast as you approach.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, head north from the city center towards University Avenue. Once you reach University Avenue, follow it until you reach the intersection with Route 1. Cross Route 1 carefully and continue along Gulf Shore Parkway East. The lighthouse is about 7 kilometers from the city center, and you will enjoy scenic views along the way. Follow the signs for Covehead Harbour, and you will arrive at the lighthouse.
