Public Transit
From downtown Charlottetown, walk to the nearest bus stop for the PEI Public Transit. Take bus number 1 towards 'York.' The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'York' stop. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Covehead Harbour Lighthouse. Head east on Gulf Shore Parkway. Follow the road until you reach the lighthouse, which will be on your left.
Bicycle
If you're renting a bicycle, start from downtown Charlottetown and head north on University Avenue. Continue onto the Confederation Trail, which leads you towards York. Follow the trail until you reach Gulf Shore Parkway. Turn left on Gulf Shore Parkway and cycle for about 10-15 minutes until you see the Covehead Harbour Lighthouse on your right.
Walking
For a scenic walk, start in downtown Charlottetown and head north on University Avenue. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Route 19. Follow Route 19 (also known as York Point Road) until you arrive at Gulf Shore Parkway. Turn right onto Gulf Shore Parkway, and you'll reach Covehead Harbour Lighthouse after about a 30-minute walk.
