Getting There

  • Public Transit

    From Charlottetown, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the corner of Queen Street and Grafton Street. Take the PEI Transit bus route 1 towards Brackley Beach. The bus runs approximately every 30 minutes. After about 30 minutes of travel, you will reach the Brackley Beach stop. Once you arrive, walk approximately 1.5 kilometers (about 18 minutes) along the scenic Brackley Point Road, following the signs for Prince Edward Island National Park. The park entrance will be on your left.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Charlottetown. Start your journey on the Confederation Trail, heading north toward Brackley Beach. Continue on the trail which is well-marked and offers beautiful views along the way. After about 12 kilometers (around 45 minutes of cycling), you will reach the Brackley Beach area. From there, follow Brackley Point Road directly to the entrance of Prince Edward Island National Park.

  • Walking

    For the adventurous walker, it's possible to walk to Prince Edward Island National Park. Start at the center of Charlottetown and walk north on Grafton Street until you reach the intersection with Brackley Point Road. Continue walking along Brackley Point Road for about 12 kilometers (which may take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours). The park entrance will be on your left. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
