Car
From Ottawa, take Highway 416 south towards Barrhaven. Merge onto Highway 401 West and continue until you reach the exit for Lanark County (Highway 7). Follow Highway 7 until you reach the town of Lanark. In Lanark, turn onto County Road 511 and continue for about 3 km. Then, turn left onto Herron Mills Road. Baird Trail will be located at 1024 Herron Mills Rd, Lanark, ON K0G 1K0.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from Ottawa to the town of Carleton Place using the Greyhound or the local bus services. Once in Carleton Place, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Baird Trail as public transportation options to Lanark Highlands are limited. Expect taxi fares to be around CAD 30-50 depending on traffic and distance.
Walking
