Car
If you are driving from Edmonton Capital Region, start by getting onto the Yellowhead Highway (Highway 16) heading east. Continue on Highway 16 until you reach the junction with Highway 2. Merge onto Highway 2 South. Follow Highway 2 South for approximately 300 km, then take the exit toward Highway 417 East, which will take you towards Ottawa. Continue on Highway 417 East until you reach the exit for Nicholas Street. Take the exit, and then follow Nicholas Street, turning left onto Laurier Avenue. Ottawa City Hall will be on your left at 110 Laurier Ave W. Note that parking may incur additional costs depending on the area.

To reach Ottawa City Hall via public transportation, first take a bus or LRT from your location in Edmonton to the Edmonton International Airport. From the airport, you can catch a direct flight to Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport. Upon arriving in Ottawa, you can take a taxi or an airport shuttle to reach the downtown area. Alternatively, you can take OC Transpo bus #97 from the airport to the Rideau Centre. From the Rideau Centre, it's a short walk to Ottawa City Hall. The bus fare from the airport to downtown Ottawa is approximately $3.75 CAD.
