Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards the Rouge National Urban Park area in Toronto. From downtown Toronto, take the Gardiner Expressway East to Highway 404 North. Exit onto Highway 401 East. Continue on Highway 401 and take the exit for Meadowvale Road. Follow Meadowvale Road south until you reach the entrance to Rouge National Urban Park. There is parking available at the park, but be sure to check if any parking fees apply. After parking, follow the signs to the Vista Trail Observation Deck.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, start by taking the TTC subway to the Scarborough Town Centre. From there, transfer to the 131 bus towards the Rouge Hill GO Station. Get off at the stop for the Rouge National Urban Park. Depending on the bus schedule, you may need to wait for the next bus, so plan accordingly. After you arrive at the park, you can walk to the Vista Trail Observation Deck by following the designated trails.

• Walking/Biking

  Once you are inside the Rouge National Urban Park, walking or biking is a great way to explore. If you have parked your car or arrived via public transport, follow the designated trails that lead to the Vista Trail Observation Deck. The park is well-marked, and the trails are suitable for both walking and biking enthusiasts. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear, and consider bringing water and snacks for your visit.
