Buttermilk Falls Resort is located on Highway 35, approximately halfway between Minden and Dorset. From Minden, travel north on Highway 35. From Dorset, take Highway 35 south. The resort is a short drive from Carnarvon. Look for the resort sign on Highway 35; it's located just after the bridge. Parking is available directly behind the cottages. Parking is free.

To reach Buttermilk Falls Resort via public transport, take a bus from Toronto to Oxtongue Lake. From there, it is approximately 45 minutes by taxi to the resort. Alternatively, take the train from Toronto to Washago, followed by a taxi to Buttermilk Falls Resort. The taxi fare from Washago is approximately $100-$150.
