Lakeview Motel & Resort, located on Haliburton County Road 21, is a family-run establishment that provides a unique blend of motel convenience with the personal touches of a bed and breakfast and the facilities of a resort. The motel is situated across the street from Grass Lake, offering a tranquil escape with a wooded setting.Originally established as Lakeview Motel in 1960, the property has been transformed over the years to provide a unique guest experience. In 2021, it transitioned to new ownership with the Shrimali family taking over and continuing to enhance the property. The motel features 14 guest rooms with air conditioning, an on-site licensed restaurant, free parking, large flat-screen TVs, and high-speed internet supported by fiber optics and WiFi throughout the property. Guests can enjoy a heated outdoor pool during the summer months, as well as private outdoor hot tubs and BBQ facilities.Lakeview Motel & Resort is ideally located moments from Haliburton Village, where visitors can find restaurants, local shopping, art galleries, and LCBO stores. Haliburton's Head Lake Park, with walking trails, a boat launch, and public docks, is also nearby. The motel provides easy access to the Haliburton Nordic Trail System, an 80 km cross-country skiing trail, making it a great destination for winter sports enthusiasts.
