Driving
The Spruce Bog Boardwalk Trail is located on Highway 60 within Algonquin Provincial Park, approximately 42.5 km from the West Gate and 13.5 km from the East Gate. From either gate, follow Highway 60 to the designated kilometer marker. Look for the well-marked parking lot on the side of the highway. A valid Park Permit is required for parking. Day passes cost $21 per vehicle. It is recommended to reserve a Daily Vehicle Permit (DVP) through Ontario Parks Reservations up to 5 days in advance.

Walking
If you are already within the Highway 60 corridor, such as at the Algonquin Visitor Centre (43 km marker) , the Spruce Bog Boardwalk Trail is a short drive or bike ride away. From the Visitor Centre, head east on Highway 60 for approximately 0.5 km. The trailhead and parking lot will be on your left. Follow the signs from the parking lot to the start of the boardwalk. There are no additional costs if you already have a valid Algonquin Park day pass.
