From downtown Halifax, walk to the Halifax Transit terminal located at 5201 Duke Street. Board the Metro Transit bus route 61, which is headed towards Eastern Passage. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 'Government Wharf Rd'. From the bus stop, walk straight down Government Wharf Rd for about 5 minutes until you reach Fisherman's Cove Heritage Centre at 4 Government Wharf Rd.
Walking
If you are already in the Eastern Passage area, head towards Government Wharf Rd. Once you are on Government Wharf Rd, continue walking straight until you see the Fisherman's Cove Heritage Centre at 4 Government Wharf Rd. It should be a short walk of about 10-15 minutes depending on your starting point.
Biking
For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in downtown Halifax. Follow the bike paths towards Eastern Passage. Once you reach Government Wharf Rd, continue biking straight until you reach the Fisherman's Cove Heritage Centre located at 4 Government Wharf Rd. The total biking distance from downtown Halifax is approximately 10 km and will take around 30-40 minutes.
