Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by heading to Highway 7 (Southern Manitoba). From Winnipeg, take Highway 7 north for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the junction with Highway 68. Turn left onto Highway 68 and continue for about 20 kilometers until you see the signs for Camp Morton Provincial Park. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the park entrance located at Camp Morton, MB R0C 0M0.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Camp Morton Provincial Park by public transportation, first take a bus from Winnipeg to Gimli. Buses are operated by Greyhound or other local services, and the trip takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Gimli, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you the final 10 kilometers to Camp Morton Provincial Park, as there is no direct public transport to the park. Be prepared for a taxi fare that could range from CAD 20 to CAD 30.

• Bicycle

  For the more adventurous, consider biking to Camp Morton Provincial Park. If you start from Gimli, take the scenic route along Lake Winnipeg's shoreline. From Gimli, head south on Provincial Road 222, which runs parallel to the lake. This route is approximately 10 kilometers and offers beautiful views. Ensure you wear a helmet and bring plenty of water and snacks, as there are limited amenities along the route.
