Car
If you're driving from Laurentides, take Autoroute 15 South towards Montreal. Once you approach Montreal, merge onto Autoroute 40 East. Follow signs for Ottawa and continue on Autoroute 416. Take exit 1 for Highway 416 North towards Ottawa. Continue on Highway 416 until it merges with Highway 417. Take the exit for Nicholas Street toward downtown Ottawa. Turn right onto Rideau Street, and then left onto Sussex Drive. Follow Sussex Drive until you reach Wellington Street where Parliament Hill is located. Parking is available in nearby lots, but expect to pay around CAD 2 to CAD 4 per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Parliament Hill using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Laurentides to Montreal. From Montreal, take the Greyhound or Orleans Express bus service to Ottawa. Once in Ottawa, utilize the OC Transpo transit system. Board the bus route 6 or 7, which will take you towards downtown. Get off at the stop near Parliament Hill, which is located on Wellington Street. A single fare on OC Transpo is approximately CAD 3.50.
Train
You can also take a train from Laurentides to Ottawa. Start by traveling to the nearest Via Rail station. Check the schedule for trains heading to Ottawa. Upon arrival at the Ottawa train station, you can take a taxi to Parliament Hill, which will cost around CAD 10 to CAD 15, or use public transit by taking bus route 14. The bus fare is approximately CAD 3.50.
