Walking
If you are starting from the Halifax Waterfront, walk along the boardwalk heading south. You'll pass shops and restaurants. Continue until you reach the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic. From there, head up the stairs towards Lower Water Street, turn left, and walk until you reach Marginal Road. Turn right, and you'll find The Emigrant Statue at 1215 Marginal Rd. This is a free and scenic way to reach the statue.
Public Transport
From the Halifax Transit terminal, take bus number 14 or 19 towards the South End. Get off at the stop closest to the Halifax Waterfront. From there, walk towards Marginal Road, a short 5-minute walk. You will see The Emigrant Statue at 1215 Marginal Rd. A single ride fare is $3.
Driving
If driving, head towards Halifax. From Highway 102, take Exit 1A onto Barrington St. Continue for about 2 km until you reach the waterfront. Turn left onto Marginal Rd.
