If you're driving from the southern part of Montérégie, such as Longueuil, take Route 132 North towards Montreal. Continue onto the Champlain Bridge and follow signs for Autoroute 10 East. Merge onto Autoroute 720 East, following the signs for downtown Montreal. Take exit 4 for Rue St-Antoine towards Rue Guy. Merge onto Rue St-Antoine, then turn left onto Rue Sherbrooke. The McCord Stewart Museum will be on your right at 690 Sherbrooke St W. There is street parking available nearby, as well as paid parking lots.

To reach the McCord Stewart Museum via public transport, start at the Longueuil-Université-de-Sherbrooke metro station. Take the Green Line (Line 1) towards Angrignon. Change at Berri-UQAM station to the Orange Line (Line 2) towards Côte-Vertu. Get off at the Peel station. Exit the station and walk west on Rue Ste-Catherine until you reach Rue Sherbrooke. Turn left on Rue Sherbrooke, and the museum will be on your right at 690 Sherbrooke St W. The total travel time is approximately 40-50 minutes.
