Getting There

    If you're driving from anywhere in Montérégie, take Autoroute 20 (A20) towards Montreal. Continue on A20 until you reach the exit for Autoroute 720 (A720) towards downtown Montreal. Follow A720 and take the exit for Ville-Marie Tunnel, which will lead you into the heart of the city. Once you're near Old Montreal, follow signs for 'Place Royale'. The Montreal Museum of Archaeology and History is located at 350 Place Royale, and there is public parking available nearby, but be aware that parking may incur a fee.

  • Public Transportation - Train and Metro

    From various locations in Montérégie, you can take a train from the exo network to Montreal Central Station. Once you arrive at Central Station, follow the signs to the Metro. Take the Green Line (Line 1) towards Angrignon. At Berri-UQAM station, transfer to the Orange Line (Line 2) towards Côte-Vertu and get off at the next stop, which is Place-d'Armes. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the museum. Head south on Rue Saint-Antoine, turn right on Rue Saint-Laurent, and then take a left on Rue Notre-Dame, which leads you directly to Place Royale.
