Several bus lines also stop near Place des Arts, including routes 15, 24, 35, 55, 80, 125, 129, 465 Express, and 480 Express. A single fare for the Metro or bus is typically around $3.50 CAD. The Place-des-Arts metro station is now universally accessible, with elevators available.

If you are in the Quartier des Spectacles or downtown Montreal, Place des Arts is easily reachable on foot. It is located between Saint Catherine and de Maisonneuve streets, and Saint-Urbain and Jeanne-Mance streets. Note that Sainte-Catherine Street may be pedestrian-only in certain sections. From Complexe Desjardins, walk west along Ste-Catherine, Place des Arts will be on the right. From UQAM, walk north on St-Urbain, Place des Arts will be on the left. No cost for walking.
