Public Transport
Place des Arts is directly accessible via the Place-des-Arts metro station on the Green Line. Follow the signs within the station to access the complex without going outside. Several bus lines also stop near Place des Arts, including routes 15, 24, 35, 55, 80, 125, 129, 465 Express, and 480 Express. A single fare for the Metro or bus is typically around $3.50 CAD. The Place-des-Arts metro station is now universally accessible, with elevators available.
Walking
If you are in the Quartier des Spectacles or downtown Montreal, Place des Arts is easily reachable on foot. It is located between Saint Catherine and de Maisonneuve streets, and Saint-Urbain and Jeanne-Mance streets. Note that Sainte-Catherine Street may be pedestrian-only in certain sections. From Complexe Desjardins, walk west along Ste-Catherine, Place des Arts will be on the right. From UQAM, walk north on St-Urbain, Place des Arts will be on the left. No cost for walking.
Taxi
Taxi and ride-sharing services are readily available in Montreal. Two taxi parking zones are located near Place des Arts: one near the Maison symphonique and the Salon urbain, and another south of Sainte-Catherine Street. A short taxi ride from downtown Montreal to Place des Arts typically costs between $10 and $15 CAD, depending on traffic.
Car
Indoor parking is available at Place des Arts, with the entrance located at 1450 Saint-Urbain Street. Consider booking your parking in advance. Parking rates vary, with hourly rates around $3 CAD per 20 minutes and a daily maximum of $19 CAD. Event rates typically range from $12 to $15 CAD. Note that streets near Place des Arts may be closed during festivals.
