If you are driving from Niagara Falls, take the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) highway towards Fort Erie. Continue on the QEW for about 25 kilometers. Take exit 27 for Highway 140 toward Port Colborne. Merge onto Highway 140 and continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach Port Colborne. Once in Port Colborne, turn left onto Mellanby Ave. Canal Lock 8 will be located along this road. There is parking available nearby.

Once you arrive at Port Colborne, you will need to take a local taxi or rideshare service to reach Mellanby Ave, as bus service may not be directly available to Canal Lock 8. The taxi ride should cost around $10-15 CAD depending on the distance.
