If you are driving from Niagara Falls, head west on the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW). Take exit 51 for St. Catharines, and merge onto Ontario 406 N. Continue on Ontario 406 N for approximately 10 minutes. Take the exit toward Welland Canals Parkway and turn left onto Welland Canals Parkway. Follow the road for about 5 minutes until you reach Lock 4, located on your right. There is free parking available near the lock.

To reach Lock 4 from Niagara Falls using public transportation, take the Niagara Falls Transit bus (Route 50) to the St. Catharines Bus Terminal. From the terminal, transfer to the St. Catharines Transit bus (Route 4) towards Merritton. Get off at the stop for Welland Canals Parkway. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk (about 800 meters) along Welland Canals Parkway to reach Lock 4. The total cost for a single ride on the bus is approximately CAD 3.00.
