The Ontario Lacrosse Hall of Fame and Museum is also located within the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre. From the museum's observation deck or the 2nd floor Lock View Lounge, visitors can watch as massive freighters are lifted or lowered to a height of 326 feet through the locks, bypassing Niagara Falls. The outdoor Discovery Park offers an opportunity to learn how the lock works and compare the size of the present Fourth Canal Lock to a First Canal Lock.
