    The WEGO bus system provides convenient access to White Water Walk. From various points in Niagara Falls, take the WEGO Green Line. The White Water Walk is a designated stop on the Green Line. A one-day WEGO pass costs approximately $13.00 CAD for adults and $9.00 CAD for children (ages 3-12).

This self-guided experience takes you on a journey deep into the Niagara Gorge, where you'll stand alongside some of the world's wildest whitewater.Begin your adventure with a 70-meter descent via elevator into the depths of the gorge. A 73-meter tunnel then leads you to a 305-meter boardwalk that stretches along the edge of the Niagara River. Here, the Class 6 rapids surge with incredible power, creating a spectacle of nature's raw energy. The water rushes past at approximately 48 kilometers per hour (30 miles per hour), generating the formidable Whirlpool Rapids.Along the boardwalk, strategically placed viewing platforms provide closer perspectives of the churning waters and the dramatic rock formations of the Niagara Gorge. Interpretive panels share insights into the geology of the gorge, which dates back 410 million years, as well as the unique plant and animal life that call this area home.The White Water Walk also holds historical significance. The Niagara Falls have gradually eroded the area over approximately 4,200 years, and you'll be standing in a spot where the Falls once thundered. Plaques commemorate Harriet Tubman's historic crossing of the Niagara River in 1856, marking the arrival of freedom seekers in Canada.
