If you are traveling by car, head towards Beardmore, Ontario. The World's Largest Snowman is located directly off Highway 11, which runs through Northern Ontario. From Thunder Bay, take ON-11 N for approximately 2 hours (about 180 kilometers). As you approach Beardmore, look for signs indicating the World's Largest Snowman. The snowman is situated at ON-11, Beardmore, ON P0T 1G0. There is no entry fee to visit the snowman, making it a budget-friendly stop.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus from Thunder Bay to Beardmore. The bus service usually runs several times a week, so check the schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Beardmore, the World's Largest Snowman is approximately a 5-minute taxi ride from the bus stop. Taxis are available, but it’s advisable to book one in advance, as they may not be readily available. Expect to pay around CAD 10-15 for the taxi ride.
