Continue on Highway 416 until it merges into Highway 401. Take Exit 118A to merge onto Highway 417 East towards Quebec. After approximately 10 km, take Exit 123 for Parkdale Avenue. Continue on Parkdale Avenue, and follow the signs to Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway. The Parkway runs parallel to the Ottawa River and offers scenic views. There is no toll for using these highways.

For those using public transportation, start by taking a local bus from your accommodation to the nearest OC Transpo bus station. Use the OC Transpo Trip Planner online or on their app to find routes that will take you to the 'Parkdale' bus stop. From Parkdale, you can either walk approximately 15 minutes to reach the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway or transfer to a nearby bus that heads into the parkway area. Ensure to have a valid fare, which is approximately CAD 3.75 for a single ride.
